After the dust from the flying popcorn settled, I brushed off my injured soul and went on the SCBWI Discussion Board and posted the first chapter of my novel and received a beautiful critique – insightful and helpful to my story.

Also, I happened to stumble upon a wonderful video made by Folio Literary that made me realize that successful people “don’t give up.” Essentially, they don’t take no for an answer.

So with help from the SCBWI, I got my critique and ate my popcorn (see previous post).
